About

This session teaches caregivers to read difficult behavior in dementia as communication of an unmet need. Participants practice a structured cause search across physical, cognitive, emotional, environmental, and interpersonal domains, then apply two tools — Trigger-Behavior-Consequence logging and the DICE team method — to five composite cases, ending with prevention, escalation red flags, and documentation that survives the shift.
